Spiced with Italian buffa, Ravel’s L’Heure espagnole transports us to Torquemada’s clock shop, the scene of his wife Concepcion’s infidelities. From May 17 – 27, Clémentine Margaine stars as Concepcion, with Philippe Talbot as Torquemada and Stanislas de Barbeyrac as Gonzalve. Pelly’s eccentric direction combined with the overloaded and hilarious set offer the perfect environment to tell the story. Maxime Pascal conducts.

She reprises the role in Paris on June 12 and 14.
